Pumpkin Butt 8/25/12

Recipe:

10Gallons

20lb 2 Row

2oz Cascade (Flavoring)

2oz Williamette (Aroma)

5tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

1tsp Cloves

2tsp Allspice

1tsp Saigon Cinnamon

5 1.14lb Cans of pure pumpkin

Specs:

OG: 1.050

FG: 1.004

ABV: 6.1%

Notes:

Temps were low becasue we didnt account for all that damn pumpkin in the mash!

Turned out great!  Nice earthy pumpkin flavor and a noticeable amount of spice.  Next time probably go without the clove addition but it in no way made spice overpowering, just a little out of balance.
